The median health tech vendor website in our count lists 428 English marketing URLs, and 22 of the 28 sites we read on 21 October 2026 list more than 250. By that measure most of them sit in the largest band of WebFX's redesign price list, $36,000 to $75,000 for a site of 150 to more than 250 pages, a figure from an agency that sells redesigns.
No survey prices healthcare B2B redesigns on their own. This page builds the estimate from the size and platform of 28 companies selling to providers, payers and life sciences firms, market data from Clutch and GoodFirms, published healthcare price bands labelled as proxies, and the review time that makes these projects run long.
Why there is no healthcare B2B redesign benchmark
Clutch, GoodFirms and agency price lists sort projects by size or site type, not by the buyer's industry. Searches for healthcare website pricing return guides for clinics and hospitals, which price a site built to win patients. A company selling to a health system builds a B2B software site with a long sales cycle, a buying committee and a security review.
So this page uses proxies and labels each one. B2B SaaS data is the closest; our B2B SaaS Website Redesign Cost and Timeline Statistics 2026 covers agency ranges and minimums by company stage. Provider pricing shows what patient-facing work adds. Our count of health tech sites links the two, because page count and platform are the inputs every price list uses.
How big healthcare B2B websites are
We read the sitemaps of 28 vendors on 21 October 2026, following each sitemap index to its child files and counting unique English URLs on the vendor's own domain. Tebra's sitemap also lists 72,375 pages of a patient-facing provider directory, which we left out. We detected the platform from each homepage's source code.

Most of the URLs are content. On the median site about two thirds of English URLs sit under a blog, resources, news, events or customer-story path; Elation Health reaches 96%. The low rows are not small hubs: Hippocratic AI lists 1,002 pages in a catalogue of AI agents, and Flatiron keeps its resources on a subdomain we did not count. A redesign prices templates and a migration prices items, so a 900-URL site may need a few dozen templates, we would expect, but several hundred entries to move and redirect.
WordPress and Webflow split the field. Twelve sites run on WordPress, one with a Next.js layer, ten on Webflow, two on HubSpot CMS, three on headless or custom stacks and one on Framer. Changing platform adds a migration cost to design and build. We build marketing sites in Webflow, so read our platform comments with that bias in mind.
What the market data says a redesign costs
| Source | What it measures | Cost | Relevance |
|---|---|---|---|
| WebFX, vendor | Redesign, 150 to 250+ pages | $36,000 to $75,000; $24,000 to $50,000 for a remodel or rebuild | Fits 22 of 28 sites |
| WebFX, vendor | Redesign, 50 to 150 pages | $24,000 to $40,000 | Fits a small hub |
| Clutch | Average web design project, verified reviews | $38,105; most under $10,000 | Skewed mean |
| Clutch | Average web development project, verified reviews | $66,499; most under $10,000 | Skewed mean |
| GoodFirms survey | SaaS website, share of 100+ firms per band | 22% at $15,000 to $30,000; 19.5% at $30,000 to $60,000; 34.1% at $60,000 to $120,000 | Closest B2B proxy |
| Kolonell, vendor | Medtech site, 15 to 30 pages, Ireland | EUR 12,000 to 50,000; specialist agency EUR 28,000 to 50,000 | Medtech-specific |

WebFX's large-site band is the best match by size, and its remodel column applies when the content stays and the templates change. GoodFirms' SaaS bands sit higher because the category includes product work. Kolonell's bands are the only ones written for medtech, but for a 15 to 30 page site; our median vendor has more than ten times as many URLs, mostly content, so the template count matters more than the total.
Clutch's averages need care. Both guides say most reviewed projects cost under $10,000, so a minority of large engagements pulls the means up, and seven and nine months are engagement lengths that often continue after launch.
Provider website prices are a different product
Healthcare website guides mostly price sites for clinics, practices and hospitals. They are useful for one thing: showing what patient-facing features add.
| Source | Tier | Price | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Redefine Web | Multi-location group, 7 to 25 providers | $32,000 to $85,000 | 14 to 22 weeks |
| Redefine Web | Enterprise health system | $85,000 to $180,000 | 20 to 36 weeks |
| Orbix Studio | Hospital, 100+ pages | $40,000 to $100,000+ | 3 to 6 months |
| Orbix Studio | Accessibility (ADA and WCAG) work | $500 to $3,000 | Not stated |
Source: Redefine Web, 2026-03-28; Orbix Studio, updated 2026-09-23. Both sell the services they price, and Orbix's hospital figures differ between sections of the same page.
The cost drivers these guides list, patient portals, scheduling, EHR integration and HIPAA-ready hosting, mostly belong to the product, not the vendor's marketing site. Webflow says it is not HIPAA compliant by default and is not designed to store or process protected health information. A vendor site that only takes demo requests from hospital staff usually stays outside that scope. One that lets patients submit anything does not, and we would put that form on a separate, compliant tool.
The rate gap does carry over. Orbix puts healthcare-specialised agencies at $150 to $250 or more an hour against $100 to $175 for generalists, so the same template count can be quoted very differently.
How long a healthcare B2B redesign takes
| Scope | Timeline | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Business website, most firms | 2 to 12 weeks (88.3% of firms) | GoodFirms survey, 2024 |
| SaaS website | 12 to 48 weeks (61% of firms); 24 to 72 weeks (39%) | GoodFirms survey, 2024 |
| Medtech site, 15 to 30 pages | 8 to 16 weeks; 12 to 16 at a specialist agency | Kolonell, vendor |
| Medtech content review and approval | More than four weeks at many organisations | Veeva, vendor |
| Promotional review job, life sciences | 14.8 days on average in 2025, up from 13.8 | Vodori, vendor |
| Web design engagement, review average | 7 months | Clutch, 2026 |
| Our marketing-site process | 4 weeks | Octo Agency |

The build is rarely what makes a healthcare redesign long. Claims about clinical outcomes, accuracy or regulatory status pass a medical, legal and regulatory review, and Vodori reports that only 55.7% of jobs passed legal review on the first circulation in 2025, with 1.5 circulations on average. Veeva adds that pre-review steps take five to 150 days per asset, without giving a source. Kolonell budgets two to four days of regulatory review for claims on a device not yet certified.
Our own figures sit at the short end, and we have no healthcare client to point to. We build marketing sites in Webflow over four weeks, and for Web Tonic we have built more than 20 white-label Webflow sites in twelve months at two to three weeks each, the largest with a CMS of over 1,200 items. Those schedules assume approvals arrive on time. On a healthcare site we would book the review rounds into the plan before design starts.
Why health tech sites get redesigned
Funding. Rock Health counts $3.7 billion across 114 deals for US digital health startups in the third quarter of 2026, and $11.1 billion across 358 deals for the year to date. The average deal reached $31.0 million, up from $29.5 million in 2025, and Rock Health says the full year could pass $14.8 billion. A new round usually brings a new position, often around AI, and the site follows.
Industry pace. Orbit Media's review of 50 top marketing brands found an average site lifespan of two years and one month, against six years and four months across 78 of its own clients, and it notes that sites in technology industries age faster.
Accessibility dates. HHS's Section 504 rule requires organisations it funds to make their web content and apps, including those provided through contractual arrangements, conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. An interim final rule in May 2026 moved the compliance date for recipients with 15 or more employees from 11 May 2026 to 11 May 2027, and for smaller ones to 10 May 2028. It binds hospitals and practices, not a vendor's marketing site, but vendors whose patient-facing pages a hospital deploys can expect the question; we would test new templates against WCAG 2.1 AA from the start.
Where a healthcare B2B redesign budget goes
Templates. Count homepage, product, buyer, integration, case study, security and resource page types. Each type is one template, however many pages use it.
Migration. The median site in our count has several hundred content entries, each needing a move, a redirect if the URL changes, and a check. A platform change adds work here, not in design.
Buyer pages. Health tech sites sell to providers, payers and life sciences teams at once. We would build one buyer template and reuse it.
Claims and review. Writing and review take a real share of the budget. WebFX prices copywriting for a large site at $6,000 to $10,000, and Kolonell charges EUR 1,800 to 4,500 per extra EU language for reviewed medical translation.
After launch. The GoodFirms survey puts SEO and marketing at 10% to 20% of the development budget each year. On a $50,000 redesign that is $5,000 to $10,000 a year.
What this means for a healthcare B2B redesign: a five-page test order
Budget from size, not averages. A health tech site with a few hundred URLs and a content hub should expect quotes in WebFX's $24,000 to $75,000 range, higher if the platform changes or patient-facing features are in scope, and a calendar set by review rounds. Octo quotes per project and does not publish prices.
If the budget does not cover the whole site, redesign five templates first and test each against its old version.
1. Homepage first screen. It has to separate providers, payers and life sciences buyers. Healthcare B2B Website Conversion Rate Statistics 2026 covers the targets.
2. Security and compliance page. The page a health system's IT and privacy team reads before a pilot, and one with few clinical claims to review.
3. One buyer template. Built once for providers, then reused for payers and life sciences.
4. One integrations page. An EHR-specific page, built as a template for each major system.
5. Demo request page. Healthcare B2B Demo Request and Lead Form Statistics 2026 has the form and booking data.
Migrate the content hub in a second phase, with every redirect mapped before launch. Our marketing websites service page explains how we scope a quote.
