Webflow's partner directory listed 2,038 freelancers and agencies on 20 October 2026, in 86 countries, and their median "starting at" price for a project was $5,000. Webflow's own headline on the same directory still says "over 1,200 certified partners", so the market is larger than the figure most articles repeat.
We read every one of the 204 directory pages and counted tier, business type, country, availability and starting price for each profile. The rest of this page adds what the directory cannot show: Webflow's market share from W3Techs, the build timelines agencies publish, and the client churn benchmarks agency researchers report. We are a Webflow agency in Serbia, so the bias is stated.
How many Webflow agencies there are
The directory at experts.webflow.com is the only public count, and it only includes partners that have passed Webflow's certification. Foundations partners, the free entry tier, are not listed. Neither are the many studios that build on Webflow without joining the programme.

What the badge means. To move from Foundations to Certified, a partner needs an active Freelancer or Agency Workspace plan, a passed pre-qualification assessment, three new client sites built in Webflow after joining Foundations, and a portfolio of three sites built from scratch that passes Webflow's grading rubric. Certification raises commission on client site plans from 10% to up to 20% and adds the directory listing. Premium is earned by delivering client projects, with points that reset each year, so a Premium badge says more about recent volume than about quality.
The headline undercounts. The directory's own banner says "over 1,200 certified partners". The listing itself holds 2,038 distinct profiles. The banner is probably an older figure that nobody updated; the listing is what a buyer sees.
Premium is a quarter of the market. 520 profiles carry the Premium badge, and the directory sorts them first: the first 463 profiles are all Premium. A Certified partner sits on page 47 or later unless the buyer filters.
Enterprise is concentrated. Only 168 profiles carry the Enterprise distinction, which Webflow awards after a partner has shown a history of selling Webflow Enterprise. 142 of them are Premium, 165 are agencies rather than freelancers, and 93 are in the United States.
Capacity is visible. 1,209 profiles show an "Accepting new projects" badge. The rest either show nothing or have switched it off. Premium partners are far more likely to say yes, which fits a tier that rises with the number of client projects delivered.

Ukraine also has 43 profiles (median $2,000), Pakistan 39 ($1,000) and Serbia 23 ($5,000). The European count is wide rather than deep: after the five largest markets, 37 more European countries and territories have at least one listed partner.
Location predicts price less than people expect. Six of the ten largest markets share the same $5,000 median, France sits at $4,000, and the real drop comes only in India, Poland, Ukraine and Pakistan. A Serbian partner and a London studio list the same starting figure.
What Webflow agencies charge
Every directory profile shows one number, "Starting at", in US dollars. It is self-declared, it describes the cheapest project the partner will take, and it is the only rate data published for every partner in one place.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| All profiles | 2,038 | $2,500 | $5,000 | $8,000 |

$5,000 is a convention, not a market price. 424 profiles, 21% of the directory, list exactly $5,000, and 226 list exactly $10,000. Three quarters of all figures are round thousands. One in ten profiles starts below $1,500, and one in ten starts above $15,000. 137 profiles start at $20,000 or more, and the highest listed is $200,000.
Tier moves the top, not the middle. Premium and Certified partners share a median of about $5,000. The difference is in the upper quartile, $10,000 against $6,000, because Premium is where the Enterprise sellers sit.
The directory does not publish hourly rates. Our earlier piece, How Webflow Agencies Price Builds in 2026: 33 Published Rate Cards Compared, covers hourly packs, subscriptions and the Upwork, Clutch and GoodFirms bands; its median entry price for a build, $5,000, matches the directory median here.
How long a Webflow build takes
No survey reports Webflow project length, so the evidence is what agencies publish about themselves. We took the timeline each agency states for its standard engagement.
| Agency | Country | Scope as stated | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fit Design | UK | Fixed-scope build from Figma | 3 to 5 weeks typical |
| WAT Studio | UK | Small marketing site, 4 to 6 pages, design included | 3 to 5 weeks |
| WAT Studio | UK | Development only from Figma, white-label | 3 to 6 weeks |
| WAT Studio | UK | Mid-size site, 8 to 15 pages | 5 to 9 weeks |
| WAT Studio | UK | Complex bespoke build | 10 to 16 weeks |
| Veza Digital | US | Standard business website | 4 to 6 weeks |
| Digi Hotshot | Not stated | Most projects; simple marketing site 4 to 6 weeks | 6 to 10 weeks |
| Spurwing | UK | Most Webflow projects | 8 to 12 weeks |
| ClearBrand | US | Own design and development engagements | 8 to 16 weeks |

Taking each agency's headline range and its midpoint (Fit Design 4 weeks, WAT Studio's small site 4, Veza 5, Digi Hotshot 8, Spurwing 10, ClearBrand 12), the median is 6.5 weeks. The split is cleaner than the median suggests. Studios building from finished designs quote 3 to 6 weeks. Agencies that run discovery, design and build quote 8 to 16. ClearBrand, which sits at the long end, says most marketing site builds in the market run 4 to 12 weeks.
Our own numbers sit at the short end because of scope. As a white-label partner we build from approved designs, and the 20 or more Webflow sites we delivered for Web Tonic in twelve months took two to three weeks each. Our own marketing-site process, with design included, runs four weeks.
Projects also slip. In Webflow's 2026 State of the Website survey of 1,000 marketing and technology leaders, run with Vanson Bourne, only 28% of organisations said they always deliver web projects both on time and within budget, and 92% said website update requests are growing in size and complexity. Webflow sells the platform, so read the framing with that in mind, but the 28% matches what agencies see: content and approvals, not development, set the end date.
How often agency clients churn
Churn is the statistic with the weakest data. No source reports churn for Webflow agencies specifically, so the figures below are for agencies in general, and each publisher is itself an agency or an agency consultancy.
| Model | Monthly churn | Annual churn | Average client lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Retainer-based | 1.6% | 18% | 56 months |
| Hybrid | 2.5% | 28% | 36 months |
| Performance-based | 3.1% | 33% | 30 months |
| Project-based | 4.2% | 42% | 24 months |

Focus Digital also reports churn falling with size: 32% a year at agencies of 1 to 10 employees, 24% at 11 to 25, 19% at 26 to 50 and 15% above 51. A third of the Webflow directory is freelancers, and most agency listings are small, so the higher end of that range is the realistic one for most Webflow shops.
Predictable Profits, a consultancy that surveyed more than 300 agencies, reports annual client retention of 78% at seven-figure agencies and 92% at eight-figure ones, with client lifetime value of $125,000 over 18 months against $450,000 over 36. It does not disclose its method.
Karl Sakas, an agency adviser, treats annual turnover above 20% as a warning sign for a retainer agency, but calls 30% to 50% reasonable for a project-based one with a healthy pipeline. Most Webflow work is sold as projects, so a Webflow studio losing 40% of its client list each year may be doing nothing wrong. It needs a sales engine that replaces those clients, or a care plan that keeps them.

Webflow's share grew sixfold between 2019 and 2026, then held flat at 1.2% through 2026. Over the same period Wix rose to 6.2% and Squarespace to 3.6%, while WordPress fell to 58.3%. Webflow is small overall and nearly twice as common in the top 10,000 sites as across the whole web, which is why its agency market is built around B2B and SaaS marketing sites rather than small-business brochures.
What this means for agencies buying Webflow capacity
If you are choosing a Webflow partner to build under your name, the numbers give you three filters. Use the directory's starting price to rule out partners whose minimum is above your project, and expect the honest figure for a 10 to 20 page site to be well above the $5,000 median. Ask for the timeline on a build from your approved designs, which should be 3 to 6 weeks, separately from any design phase. And plan for project churn: a white-label partner that builds well is the cheaper half of the equation; the agency still has to keep the client after launch, through a retainer or care plan. We quote per project against a written scope, and our white-label service page explains how we scope it.
