What 30 Webflow Agency Websites Say About Capacity: A Teardown for Agencies Looking for a Partner

Thirty Webflow agency websites read on 20 October 2026 for the signals a partner-hunting agency needs: named team, headcount, build time, agency offer and Webflow's directory badge.

Octo Agency cover: What 30 Webflow Agency Websites Say About Capacity, with a purple hexagon pattern

Only 10 of the 30 Webflow agency websites we read on 20 October 2026 say how many people work there. Eighteen name at least three of the people who would do the work, nine give a build time in weeks, and four say they will build for other agencies. Meanwhile 25 of the 29 that appear in Webflow's own Certified Partner directory carry its "Accepting new projects" badge.

This teardown is for agency owners who need Webflow capacity and are screening partners from their websites. We read each agency's homepage plus its about, team, pricing or partner page, recorded six checks, and set the results against all 2,038 listings in Webflow's directory on the same day. We are a white-label Webflow partner ourselves and are not one of the 30. Our earlier piece, 17 White Label Web Development Partners Checked on Their Own Sites, covered firms that sell white-label work; this one reads the Webflow agencies you might otherwise hire, or compete with.

How we chose the 30 and what we recorded

We picked 30 agencies from Webflow's Certified Partner directory and from the partners Webflow features on its own landing page, weighted towards the Premium and Enterprise tiers, because this piece is about established agencies. One, Webstacks, is not in the directory but mentions Webflow on its homepage. All 30 are agencies rather than freelancers. Pages were read with plain HTTP requests, without logging in or contacting anyone. Text that only appears after a script runs may have been invisible to us, so a "No" means the pages we read did not say it, not that the agency cannot answer.

Named clients are not in the table because they did not separate anyone. Client logos, case studies and attributed testimonials were the most common signal by a wide margin, and they tell you who an agency has pleased, not whether it has room for you.

Webflow's directory: 2,038 listings, and most say they have room

Webflow's partner landing page says buyers can choose from over 1,200 certified partners. The directory behind it listed 2,038 on 20 October 2026, across 204 pages of ten: 1,384 agencies and 654 freelancers, 520 Premium partners and 1,518 Certified, with 168 carrying the Enterprise label. Webflow describes Premium partners as its top tier by proven client success, and Enterprise partners as specialists in complex builds for large customers. Every listing shows a starting price; some also show "Accepting new projects" and "Highly responsive".

The badge is more common the higher the tier, which makes it less useful exactly where agencies shop. In our 30, the four listings without it include Flow Ninja and Flowout, the two agencies with the most developed offers for agencies. We cannot tell from outside how often partners update the badge, so we read it as a filter that removes nobody rather than as a statement of free hours. The starting prices are a floor for a first conversation, not a quote; our piece How Webflow Agencies Price Builds in 2026: 33 Published Rate Cards Compared covers pricing in depth.

Named clients are everywhere; named builders are not

Eighteen of the 30 sites name at least three people with their roles. The strongest examples name the people who would build: 8020's about page lists 18 people including developers, designers and a resource manager; Flow Ninja's names three Webflow team leads among 18; BX Studio and Kvalifik name designers and technical leads alongside their leadership. Four sites (Flowout, Psychoactive, Reload and Skywwward) use first names or first names with an initial, which is friendly but harder to check.

Twelve name nobody, or only a founder. Some are large: Finsweet states a team of more than 50 and Outliant more than 150, but neither names a builder on the pages we read.

Edgar Allan makes the argument for naming in its own blog, titled "the team you meet should be the team that builds your site". It suggests asking for named team members before signing and talking to the technical lead without the account manager present. For an agency buying capacity, that test matters twice, because your client will meet your team, not the partner's.

The upper bounds are where a white-label arrangement loses money. Your client will remember the low end of a range, so a partner quoting 4 to 16 weeks needs to tell you which end your scope sits at before you quote. Twenty-one of the 30 give no site build time at all, which is defensible for custom work but means you have to ask for the last five delivery dates instead.

For comparison, our own white-label builds for Web Tonic have run two to three weeks per site, and our full marketing-site process takes four weeks. We state that as the bias it is.

Four of 30 say they will build for other agencies

Flow Ninja has a page for alliances and agencies that offers white-label and silent partnerships, with work done under the agency's brand and hidden from the end client unless the agency wants otherwise.

Flowout runs white-label pages and publishes subscription prices: Webflow development from $5,900 a month, development and design from $7,900, with copywriting from $9,900, and hourly packages from $2,500. These are vendor-published figures.

Digidop answers the question in its pricing FAQ: it offers white-label collaborations for design, development or the whole project. It also publishes direct-client ranges of $5K to $15K and $15K to $50K.

Edgar Allan describes a build-only engagement in which it partners with agencies and in-house teams, then hands the site over for the client to own.

On the other side, Veza Digital states that it does not white-label work, subcontract to freelancers or route projects through third-party studios. That is a selling point to direct clients and a clear answer for agencies. LoudFace offers something different: a referral programme paying 10% of a referred client's retainer every month for as long as the client stays. Our piece White Label vs Referral Partnership: Which Earns an Agency More per Client in 2026 compares the two models.

The other 24 say nothing either way. Asking costs one email, but an agency that sells to your clients' peers may decline or price in the risk.

Some Enterprise partners barely mention Webflow

Seventeen of the 30 homepage titles contain the word Webflow. Outliant's homepage does not mention it at all, Huemor's mentions it once, and Blott's and Webstacks' twice. Psychoactive's about page says its default is now custom builds in React, Vue, WebGL and GSAP, while Webflow remains the right tool for many projects. Nine of the 24 agencies with the Enterprise label in the directory do not state that tier on the pages we read.

None of this is a fault. Agencies grow out of a single platform. But an agency that needs Webflow builds specifically should confirm that the people assigned to its project build in Webflow every week.

What this means for an agency choosing a Webflow partner

Screen in this order, because the first checks remove the most candidates for the least effort:

1. Agency offer. Look for white-label or build-only work in writing. If the site is silent, ask before anything else.

2. Named builders. Ask for the names and roles of the people who will build, and 15 minutes with the lead developer.

3. Build time with the upper bound. Ask where your scope falls in the stated range, or for recent delivery dates.

4. Headcount against your load. A 12-person team and a 150-person team handle a second urgent project differently.

5. Tier cross-check. Match the claim on the site to the listing in Webflow's directory.

6. Ignore the badge. Ask for a start date instead.

On our side: we build marketing sites in Webflow and applications in Next.js, our named white-label client is Web Tonic, for whom we built 20 or more Webflow sites in twelve months with the largest CMS above 1,200 items, and we quote per project. Our white-label service page explains how we scope it.

Frequently asked questions

What should a Webflow agency website show if I want to hire it as a partner?

Four things: whether it works for other agencies, the names of the people who would build, a build time with an upper bound, and a headcount. In our read of 30 Webflow agency websites on 20 October 2026, 18 named at least three team members, 10 stated a headcount, 9 gave a build time in weeks and only 4 offered white-label or build-only work. Client logos are common and separate nobody.

What does "Accepting new projects" mean in Webflow's partner directory?

It is a badge shown on a partner's listing in Webflow's Certified Partner directory. On 20 October 2026, 59.3% of the 2,038 listings showed it, rising to 74.0% for Premium partners and 73.2% for those with the Enterprise label. Because most top-tier partners carry it, it does not tell you whether a partner can start your project next week. Ask for a start date in writing.

How long does a Webflow agency take to build a site?

Of 30 Webflow agency websites we read, nine stated a duration. The ranges ran from "as little as 3 weeks" for a 30-page migration (Composite) to 16 weeks (Flow Ninja, 8020 and Veza Digital for larger builds), and three agencies quoted 4 to 8 weeks for a standard site. Twenty-one gave no build time, so ask for recent delivery dates and where your scope sits in any range.

Which Webflow agencies offer white-label work?

Of the 30 we read, four stated it on their sites: Flow Ninja (white-label and silent partnerships), Flowout (white-label subscriptions from $5,900 a month, a vendor figure), Digidop (white-label design, development or whole projects) and Edgar Allan (build-only work for agencies). Veza Digital states that it does not white-label. Specialist white-label firms are compared in our separate piece checking 17 providers on their own sites.

What is the difference between Webflow Premium and Enterprise partners?

Webflow's directory describes Premium partners as its top tier, with the most proven success serving Webflow clients, and Enterprise partners as those who specialise in complex builds for large customers. On 20 October 2026 the directory listed 520 Premium partners and 168 with the Enterprise label. The median starting price was $5,000 for Premium listings and $10,000 for Enterprise. Check that an agency's site claim matches its listing.
